Hello and welcome to the Family Savvy Bucks Finance Blog! My name is Somchai Brown, and I’m a father of two wonderful kids, ages 8 and 11. And the head of the household family. We are the working class family just like you, working dad, stay-at-home mom, with 2 young school children. Everyday is always a new challenge and excitement not just finance but all in family lives. One of the key challenging part is Family Finance. 

Over the years, my family and I have navigated the ups and downs of managing finances, from budgeting for school supplies to planning for family vacations. Like many families, we’ve faced the challenge of balancing a single income with the needs of a growing household. Through our journey, I’ve learned valuable lessons that I want to share with others in similar situations. 

I started this website because I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to manage a family’s finances. My experiences taught me the importance of budgeting, saving, and finding creative ways to earn extra income—all while ensuring that our kids have everything they need to thrive. By creating this blog, I hope to provide practical tips, strategies, and encouragement to families looking to improve their financial well-being without sacrificing quality time together.
